FLAT CUSTARD ENAMEL RETRACTABLE CORD LIGHT
Dyke & Dean classic, gloss enamelled flat style shades. These are an old design that we still manufacture to this day.
The flat enamel shade gives a much wider light distribution and is perfect for lofts, hallways, outbuildings and even outdoors ( covered area ) where a single bulb is expected to light a greater area. Alternatively, hang them on long, low, cables and pair with a low wattage feature bulb for a cozy, intimate feel to any room.
Fitted with glossy PVC spring cable, its wired ready to install on the ceiling. The rise and fall units are made in Europe since the 1970’s. The main control component hides in the ceiling rose cup. This leaves a clean finish the the pendant drop.
The control unit provides adjustable tension which can be adjusted by turning the knob either clockwise to increase tension or anticlockwise to release the tension. The units can also be set in a fixed position. It’s a flexible system that is easy to re-adjust after installation has taken place by pulling the cable cup downwards.
The retractable cord provides you the opportunity to adjust the lamp level, available in a range of colours and pendant styles.
Our shades are made to a very high standard. We only sell “A” grade quality shades that come out of our factory. However as with the nature of the enamelling process there may be some slight imperfections to the finish.
